HDI Online Courses are best viewed in Microsoft Internet Explorer 8. Online courses use Adobe FlashPlayer® plugin technology. To view all course material the FlashPlayer® plug-in must be installed.

Do I need to have a student profile to access HDI Online training?

Yes, the HDI Customer Care Center will create a student profile. You will receive an email with your login and password credentials.

What is included with my course registration?

All certification course prices include online training course and certification exam.

How long is a course registration?

Once registered for an online course, practice test or certification exam; you have 12 weeks to access it.

Preparing for an HDI Certification Exam

Study the HDI Desktop Support Technician Certification Standard.

The exam format is as follows:

  • The exam consists of sixty-five (65) objective and subjective multiple-choice questions, drawn in random order from a pool of exam questions.
  • You will have seventy-five (75) minutes to complete the exam.
  • The passing score for the certification exam is 80%.
  • Should you not pass the exam, there is a $99 retake fee.
  • If your time has expired, there is a $50 fee for a 30-day extension.
