HDI Online Courses are best viewed in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6. Online courses use Adobe FlashPlayer®, Sun Java® and Microsoft Windows Media® plugin technologies. To view all course material, plug-ins must be installed.

Do I need to create a student profile to access HDI Online training?

Yes, new users must create a student profile prior to purchasing a course. You will receive an email with your login and password credentials.

What is included with my course registration?

All course prices include online training course and certification exam. Online exam prep course included when applicable.

How long is a course registration?

Online certification course registrations are 12 weeks from the time you first access the course. Non-certification course registrations may have a shorter registration.

What HDI certifications will qualify me for Microsoft's Next Generation Certification?

HDI Support Center Analyst Certification qualifies for Microsoft’s Next Generation Certification.

What if I am HDI Help Desk Analyst Certified or have achieved STI Knowledge Certified Help Desk Professional?

Neither certification qualifies for Microsoft’ Next Generation Certification. The Support Center Analyst standards, courseware and certification exam were first released in October of 2006 and are updated quarterly. We encourage those certified under the former programs to take the Support Center Analyst course to learn the updated standards and material. The certification exam is included in the price of the course. For those that prefer to simply take the certification exam, it may be purchased for just $99 through July 31, 2007.
