I forgot my password. What should I do? Click on the Login link in the menu. Enter your email and click the forgot password link on the page. Your password will be sent to you. New users should create a student profile prior to purchasing a course. The course is loading slowly. What should I do? HDI recommends that users have a broadband connection to view online course material. A broadband connection speed of at least 384k is recommended.
My pop-up blocker is blocking the course content. What should I do? One of the main problems encountered in an eLearning course are browser Pop-up Blockers. Typically, you will be alerted to a blocked message by an error message that will appear on your screen within your browser, or by an audio sound. If you are having trouble opening links within the course, please be sure to disable your browser pop-up blocker. Many browser plug-in programs include a pop-up blocker that need disabled. The most common are the Yahoo! and Google Toolbars. I was in the middle of taking my exam and I lost a connection or the connection timed-out. What should I do? Log back in immediately. The HDI Learning Center has a safeguard in case of an internet interruption. Each answer is stored in the Learning Center Database when it is submitted. The exam clock will keep running with or without the user for the entire duration of the exam. Logging back in will restore your exam session. |
